Well, that's it...the first Kent Vocal Academy Showcase has come and gone!  Well Done to all who took part - it was a fantastic evening and fun was had by all. 

I was very impressed by all my students who took part.  The photos will be available on the website soon......

After the success of this one, I will be arranging another one in 2010...keep your eyes and ears open for information TBA!!!

Tickets will be on sale from Monday 12th October.  They can be reserved by email, phone or in person (during your scheduled lesson).

Time:

Show starts at 7.30pm.  Can adults please be available from 6pm and children from 6.30pm to make sure we can do a quick sound check with all.

Venue: Cleave Warne Hall (behind St Matthew’s Church), Borstal.

NB: Parking can be a bit of a nightmare around here so please get there promptly to try to get as close as possible to the venue.

Parents will not be allowed into the hall until doors open at 7pm.  Please drop your children off and come back at 7pm.  There is a pub down the road!!

Refreshments will be available to purchase and there will be a raffle on the night.

Clothes, Hair and Makeup

I am aiming for a black, red and blue theme.  I don’t expect everyone to wear all of these colours, but a little bit of colour would be good.  If you have any problems with this, please speak to me.

Please try to have hair away from the face.  It doesn’t need to be tied up, just not dangling in front of your eyes!

Make up can be worn but please keep it minimal. There is no need for full stage makeup on this occasion.

So, the preperation for the Kent Vocal Academy Showcase 2009 is well underway.  Students are learning their songs, the venue is booked and the date confirmed!!

Tickets are £4 each or 3 for £10.

Tickets will be available from Monday 5th October.  There will be a raffle on the night (any donations towards this would be gratefully received) and drinks and nibbles will be available.
