Singing Lessons

Please note the price below is for 1-2-1 lessons only. Group lessons can be arranged – please contact me via the contact page for more information.

45 minute lessons are £18

Lessons can be arranged weekly or fortnightly. I try to remain flexible and will try to keep the same, convenient slot available for you each time you would like a lesson.  Hour lessons can be arranged.

If you book a block of ten lessons and pay in advance (on the first lesson in the block is fine), you will receive the 11th lesson FREE!. This can be arranged for any length of lesson. If you do not complete the course of ten lessons, then no refund will be given for missed or cancelled lessons.

I accept cash or cheque (although I do not visit the bank very often, so please be patient with cheques going out of your bank). Lessons can be paid for individually, in four week blocks or ten session blocks (with a 10% discount).

Lessons are based at my home studio in Strood, ME2.

What to expect in a singing lesson

During lessons we will cover everything from the correct posture for singing, breathing and warm up techniques and range (how high and low you can sing) to audition procedures and set lists (if you are looking to perform).  Lessons will be tailored to individual students so if you are looking to have singing lessons just for fun and will not use the audition process work (for example) then this will be omitted.

I want you to have FUN whilst you are learning to sing with me however I also want you to LEARN!

Cancellations & Illness

If you need to cancel a lesson, please let me know via email or telephone. Please give me as much notice as possible. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged full lesson fee for the missed lesson which will be payable at the next session.

If you have a cold or virus, please do not come to your lesson. This is also the case for bad attacks of hay fever or any other breathing related illnesses. Please call as soon as you realise you will not be well for your lesson. In this situation, you will not be charged. If students continuously miss lessons do to colds, a payment may be required. If I am ill, I will contact you to re-arrange your lesson.
